Call Today to Save Dogs!
On Nov. 13, the Michigan House Agriculture Committee voted to advance Queenie’s Law! This bill—HB 4849—would outlaw painful dog experiments at public institutions like those conducted at Wayne State University. But we need your help to move it forward!
Today, please call Speaker of the House Joe Tate and urge him to bring the bill forward for a vote before the full House of Representatives.
Speaker of the House Joe Tate
Phone: (517) 373-0857
When you call, say “I am a Michigan voter, and I am asking Speaker Tate to hold a floor vote on HB 4849.”
Then please call your state representative and ask them to help.

When you call your representative, say: “I am a constituent, and I am calling to ask Representative [Last Name] to tell Speaker Tate to hold a floor vote on HB 4849.”
After you call, please ask your friends and family to call too and share this alert on Facebook and X.
Remember that a lot of people are calling Speaker Tate, so his office may not be able to answer quickly. If you are not able to reach a person, please keep trying until you reach someone.
Thank you for your time and dedication to saving dogs in labs!
Very truly,
