General Donations
- How will my donation be used?
- Your contributions support all our lifesaving programs that help people, animals, and the planet. For a breakdown of our expenses, including our latest Annual Report and 990 Form, please visit our Annual and Financial Reports page.
- Is my donation tax-deductible?
- Yes, your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Physicians Committee is a nonprofit organization that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. After making your contribution online, you will receive a receipt via email for your tax records. If you mail in your donation, you will receive a receipt in the mail. Our tax ID number is 52-1394893.

- How can I donate by phone?
- You can donate via credit card or bank account over the phone by calling our Membership Team at 202-527-7304.
- I’m an existing monthly donor. How can I change my payment information for my monthly donation?
- o To update your payment information for your monthly donations, please visit our secure Self-Service Portal at PCRM.org/UpdateCC. You will be prompted to enter your email address to receive a link to access your PCRM account. If you need to terminate or change the amount of your monthly donations, please contact our Membership Team at membership@pcrm.org or 202-527-7304. For security purposes, please do not include payment information via email.
